All I can say is Wow!
So, with all of the recent medical bills for Ethan and the economy, I have been working really hard to cut back on our spending and plan our meals more carefully in an attempt to save more money.
I recently joined a website, the grocerygame.com, in an effort to maximize my savings and have been very happy with my results so far.
This week was absolutely astounding for me. Albertsons, a local grocery chain in our area is running a superb sale this week. When you spend $30 on select items, you receive a $15 coupon for your next visit. Many of the items on the list are great items to stockpile such as boxed meal items, laundry soap, cake mixes, pasta sauces, cereal, etc.
My strategy was to purchase $30 worth of items and receive my $15 for the next purchase. Purchase another $30 worth of items and use my $15 from the previous purchase while earning another $15 and repeat the process...see the idea? Well, when using this strategy in combination with all the manufacturers coupons I have been saving, the outcome was amazing.
